I have my problem actually regarding my computer for it runs to slow and I want to increase its speed. Could it be it possible? Here are the specs of my Personal Computer, I a have a 512mb of DDR2 memory, 1.8GB of processor and a 160 GB HDD.

Could anybody help me, I am a computer programmer and I really want to increase my computer performance and speed for me to be able to finish my work at the right time. A friend of mine tells me to add an additional memory. He tells me to buy a 2GB DDR2 memory to increase the speed of my computer. But my problem is I don’t know how to buy a 2GB DDR2 memory. I don’t want to buy without any knowledge because I once buy a DDR2 memory but I just being fooled by the one who sell me the memory. And that is why I really don’t want to buy without any knowledge that’s why please help me.
